1   Data Protection

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore, we process your data only on basis of the legal regulations (DS-GVO, TKG 2003). This privacy notice is intended to inform about how, what and why we obtain and process your data.

2   Collection and processing of your Data

Within the scope of your order, your newsletter abonnements or the visit of our website, we collect and process certain personal information concerning you. How we process data, the scope of the data processing and the reason why we do so are described below.

3   Orders

Within the scope of your order, we process the data you provide: first name, last name, e-mail address, street name, postal code, city, telephone number, age user name and password.

The data required for payment processing within the context of the payment methods Credit Card, Sofort Bank Transfer and PayPal will be passed on to our payment partner Unzer (www.unzer.com) or you will be forwarded to the website of our payment partner Unzer when you select one of these payment methods. Our payment partner encrypts your credit card information via SSL (at least 128 bits) for data transmission. Further information on data processing by our payment partner can be found in the data protection regulations of our payment partner at https://www.unzer.com/en/data-protection.

The data you provided will only be processed to process your order and fulfil the contract between you and us. The data processing takes place on the legal basis of Art 6 Abs 1 lit b DS-GVO. After the contract has been fulfilled and the purchase price has been paid in full, your data will be archived and deleted after the tax and commercial retention periods or the periods under the Product Liability Act have expired, unless you have consented to the further use of your data. If the purchase process is aborted without the conclusion of contract, the data stored by us will be deleted.

Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise disclosed if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or billing or if you have given your prior consent. As part of the order processing, for example, the service providers we use here (e.g.: shipping companies, logisticians, payment service providers) receive the necessary data for order processing and fulfilment. In the event of legal requirement, a regulatory action or an official investigation, however, we are legally obligated to make the relevant data available to the authority.

4   Newsletter

If you register for our newsletter and thereby give us consent (Art 6 Abs 1 lit a DS-GVO), we will process your name and e-mail address for the purpose of sending our newsletter. Your personal data will be stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or revoke your consent.

You can withdraw your consent or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending a message to office@The3DObject.com or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter or if you notify us otherwise.

5   Visit of our Website / Use of Cookies

As part of your visit on our website we collect personal data that are technically necessary (name of the retrieved file, date and time of the retrieval, amount of data transferred, report about success of the transfer, browser type and version, operating system of the used device, referrer URL and requesting provider). We can assign these data to non-identifiable persons and we will not cross-reference/merge them with data obtained from any other source.

We inform you, that our website uses cookies. Cookies are small data files or any kind of information storage which are transferred to your web browser by our web server or any third-party web server and are stored there for future usage and/or retrieval. The cookies used when you visit our website only serve the purpose of simplifying the shopping process (e.g., by saving the articles placed in the shopping cart) and enabling the use of certain functions of our web shop. Our used cookies will be deleted from your storage disk as soon as you close your browser (session cookies). The collection of those data is based on § 96 Abs 3 TKG.

Furthermore, we use cookies to statically analyze the usage of our website with the use of the web analysis service Matomo. The collection of those data is based on Art 6 Abs 1 lit f DS-GVO.

Provided that you have previously consented to this and in accordance to Art 6 Abs 1 lit a DS-GVO our website cookies are used by third party providers for the purpose of collecting and evaluating user behavior during your visit of our website. The consent to this cookie usage takes place through a pop-up banner where the type and extent of use of these cookies is commented and you can either accept or reject them. Prior to your consent no cookies of this kind will be used. If you do not accept cookies the functionality of our website may be restricted.

6   Data Security

Your data is encrypted and transferred over the internet using SSL. We protect our website and any other system of ours with technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons.

7   Right of a concerned Person

You have the right to disclosure about your personal information, the right to correct or delete your data or restrict its processing. Furthermore, you can object to the processing of your data and have the right to transfer your personal data in structured, machine-readable form. For all right mentioned, please use the contact details of the person responsible.

8   Right of Complaint

You have the right to file a complaint at a supervisory authority.
